Remembered this from years ago. If your child is likely to enjoy the feedback of seeing their writing online then this is great. You can of course then print them out and display them.

They do have advanced collaborative projects for older or really keen writers but my fondest memories are of my son submitting items to "monster motel" and "dradonsville".

There are even "instant stories" to encourage writers who lack self confidence, as is so often the case when withdrawn from school:

The only thing is that the site seems a bit out of date in places - so hope it is still working properly
